Alleged new Seiko SKX Pepsi LE
SKXA65K......USD $375.00, supposedly Thailand release. With Seiko using the cyclops more in their designs I'm assuming they think their buyers are older. Not really a fan and prefer the 009.

Re: Alleged new Seiko SKX Pepsi LE
Why can't they just update the movement in the classic 7S26-0020-cased watches?

That and drilled lugs would be a home run.Selym wrote:Why can't they just update the movement in the classic 7S26-0020-cased watches?

Like all Seikos, I am sure it will look a million times better in person than their crappy stock photos.

They put the notch on the wrong side of the camel toe.

I like the dials but the hands are off for me. Not cohesive

Re: Alleged new Seiko SKX Pepsi LE
I like his work way better. It stays more true to factory parts also.
I am pretty convinced that they Thailand ones never make it to Seiko's catalogue. That they are actually modded in Thailand just like how car dealers in the US use to mod their own cars. So that dial might be made locally in Thailand and not from Seiko. Because I remember when I contact Thailand about the LE MM they was a mystery years ago only Thailand Seiko was aware of it. But we know how Thailand likes some wild customs.

Personally I find it unobtrusive as far as cyclops go. In fact I hadn't even noticed it until I read down the threadstreetracer101 wrote:Bezel is strange and cyclops is fail.

Re: Alleged new Seiko SKX Pepsi LE
Fail for me especially since SKX means it's still using the 7S26. Why oh why can't they put a 4R36 in there at this price? I guess the bracelet endings will be folded ones too..

That's beautiful, but I'd never pay that kind of money for a Frankenmod.dnslater wrote:Yes, but the Artifice version costs $900!!pbj204 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 24, 2017 7:03 am
