My X-mas present

Post by polaco23 » Fri Jan 08, 2010 11:33 pm

I told you guys i will show you what Brenna got for me for xmas, in addition to my Sony Cybershot.......here ya go.

her brother is a talented artist, so she went and bought a large canvas, and some paints, and told him i wanted Elroy Jetson painted on it, POP ART style (acrylic on canvas). Well, also i wanted it to be a style of one of my favorite artists (both Burton Morris & KAWS have made similar pieces), but the works cost $80k and up.

I like mine more. He put his little touches on it, which makes it that much better IMO.

And in my bedroom, with two other watercolors, both from Banana Republic ( i worked there when i started college, and they were throwing out these original artworks, with the wood frames!)

The painting is 2 feet tall, and 18 inches long

I wouldn't have guessed it based on a wordy description alone, but I like it. Pretty cool. You probably better hang on to that one; she seems pretty cool too.

8-) Sweet gift.

I really like the Big Boy one you put in there. That was my favorite place to go when I was a young kid. There are no more, at least where I grew up. :crybaby:

Great stuff, everyone needs some color in their house. We just got some of these prints from Mark Ryden, kinda expensive, but well worth it, more interesting than what my friends have on their walls!!
