I know the vintage #22 is not paid for yet :Dabuemily wrote:Well, snooze you lose. They are already sold out.

dude was in there getting a sevenfriday and said to put #22aside for him.
Dennis of gnomon could be tempted to sell the one on his wrist..? (Still wrapped in plastic)
Re: Evant Tropic Diver 300
Probably for the best. I definitely suffer from "something shiny syndrome". My only defense against these $500 micros is to remember they actually represent 1/6 the cost of a Black Bay.

I asked them to let me know if one becomes available, we'll see what happens. Anyway, congrats on yours.

G-dammit
Was trying to hold off on a PayPal payment so I didn't have to tap into my bank account. Can't believe it sold out. Very disappointed

Re: RE: Re: Evant Tropic Diver 300
Coming into a dark room from regular exposure its OK..its that pale yellow tone? Applied quite evenly on the dial and bezel - to me thats important.Chocodove wrote:Mike, how's the lume?
There is a bezel pip so gotta see how that one is applied later.
Its no seiko but probably adequate for a glance in the dark at 3am and not lose your way.
Will mess around with some flashlight exposure tmr.
Re: RE: Re: Evant Tropic Diver 300
Thanks. That blasted case does look great. I keep hovering over the "add to cart". I think the blasted version looks like the orgy love child of a Sinn, BPFF, and The Fly
Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Evant Tropic Diver 300
Next to your no date sub and BP is probably a good comparison as I have owned or worn both. Too bad the first 100 of the vintage are gone. I suspect the next 50 might be put up or are they all gone?mikeylacroix wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2017 4:56 amSure thing. Any particular requests?giosdad wrote:I am looking forward to yours and Ed's opinions on these. Can you do a few comparison pictures with other watches in your collections as well?mikeylacroix wrote: ↑Sun Feb 05, 2017 4:43 amAbsolutely. Will do a thread when I get back tmr. Just a very well done pieceRyeguy wrote:Well, what do you think? Worth the coin?

Re: Evant Tropic Diver 300
Vintage being sold out I am trying the bead blasted model. Don't have a bb case so why not. But if I like the watch case and size I'll likely grab the vintage later and sell this one.

Just FYI .... I will probably only keep one, so I'll have one in the USA soon.
Re: Evant Tropic Diver 300
It seems as though there might additional units available tomorrow.
