Formex returns online

Post by AtomicTom » Fri Jan 06, 2017 9:16 am

You guys may already know about this. Just finding out about it.

Seems like Formex is exclusively selling their watches online from now on. With all of
their watches featuring Formex's patented suspension system, and collections like the AS
1100, DS2100, and TS3100. Each line with not only unique designs, but also multiple
movement options from Swiss Ronda quartz, to Valjoux 7750 automatic everyone.

Just a couple pictures...

That suspension system may be technically interesting, but it appears to be a solution looking for a problem.

I don't get what problem it's solving? The case back will rest in your wrist and the strap will pull the outer case down so when tight won't the suspension be fully compressed??

Most don't wear their watches that tight, however I still don't see the point. A decent adjustable clasp is a better solution.

Tom, thanks for always being on the lookout and letting us watch nerds in on the new stuff. But you gotta remember comma placement. Totally changes the meaning of a sentence.
