Doesn't hurt to ask them if they can provide an alternative shipping methodHenryj wrote:I can live with the Strapcode/Tungchoy prices, but their shipping is absurd. I can't use the mail (no such thing as residential delivery here), and they want $48 to use Fedex. When Creation Watches can DHL a whole watch to my apartment in three days for $29, Strapcode's shipping is BS.
Tsunami XW Bracelet T, with 6309 endlinks
hey fool I contacted yobokies and he said for you to send "our" watch to him for dlc
Henry if you can wait I can have that shit sent to my house and then you?Henryj wrote:I can live with the Strapcode/Tungchoy prices, but their shipping is absurd. Got the 779 just now and can safely say both shades are the same!toxicavenger wrote:The different shades of blue throws it off for me. I was thinking about what a 773 bezel swap with a 779 would be like.
You would end up with:
Blue dial / pepsi bezel (PADI style)
Black dial / blue bezel
![]()
I can get behind the double dome as it's an improvement to the original aesthetic and will do this eventually... I would do this mod/swap to both then if convinced.
Problem I'm having is the 773 is just so damned perfect all dark blue I'm not sure adding the pepsi dial to it would be an improvement?![]()
Black dial with blue would be cool but I think it would end up getting sold whereas I might be more inclined to keep both in their original configurations.
I think the only alternative is to buy another 773 and 779 and selling the blue bezel on black dial 779. You'd end up with two blue dials and one with a Pepsi bezel. The blue-on-black would move quickly to parlay the funds. Might as well add a crystal to that one, too, just in case you decided to keep it.![]()
It has been done and looks fantastic.... Wish he kept the blue on black instead of swapping dials even though his sunburst mod is nice:
nice!sierra11b wrote:Got the 779 just now and can safely say both shades are the same!toxicavenger wrote:The different shades of blue throws it off for me. Must be that the lighting was off or the contrast against the red threw it off, but they are a match for my two watches.
Just sent Duarte an email for the bezel swap and crystals.
I agree I really like this new strap. Hell I like better than the older tuna strap.sierra11b wrote:Does anyone know the reference for the silicon strap and if you can buy it? This thing is amazing for the price. Almost want to buy the 777 to source another.
Is that bead blasted or is it the OEM finish on the case?r.palace wrote:Just saw this on WUS
Harold's work. Quoted me $45 for the bead blast and $150 for DLC.
Never had either mod done but I'm assuming that pricing is in the ballpark.
Really love the look but that's a lot of coin to invest in this watch. Will consider it down the line if this one stays.

Didn't realize that until I inquired with others. Very tempting if I pick up another 775 for a songtoxicavenger wrote:everyone is about that price except for overseas.Panerai7 wrote:That's really a good deal for a true DLC isn't it?
