From what I can see on mine, yes its closed. I'm probably supposed to remove the springbars, position the strap and put the springbars back on.

Put it in a Ziploc with a couple of dryer sheets overnight or a few days...it'll do the trick.

Oh okay, I think on the ones from Erika it actually has a adjustable clasp then.

Okay I finally got one from Erika and I have to say I like it. Is it worth $50, I don't know honestly. But it is super comfy. I would not put this on a watch bigger than 42mm unless it was Ti, I don't think it would wear as well. The Erika straps are close to the original as far as I can find. The og version actually had two pieces of fabric running under the watch head where these have one. Also I think the side adjustment is an add on. I had a question on where or not the hook closure was secure, well it is because it sits flush against the bracket it clips on, so it does not come off easily. Actually it can tough some times trying to latch the clasp with one hand.

I have a line on some og versions with nothing added to them, but I have to try one out first before I decide to carry some.

The red thread matches my Bernhardt GMT perfectly. Here it is on the BB GMT.

Looking good Terry! Got myself a second one, this time in yellow, from Erika. They are so comfortable you even forget you have'em on! Cheers

Right, once you get it set up they are pretty nice. I can't see myself not wearing natos right now but it an alternative for sure
