Daytona for the first time.
I really like this watch. It wears very comfortably and the size it totally reasonable, despite looking huge in this picture. The ez-link clasp is nice, though the hidden micro adjust is a total pain in the ass.

Sure. I can snap it next to my speedy pro, which is much larger. It wears small. I understand why people complain.greenlightning wrote:Very nice. How bout some comparison pics for size?JP Chestnut wrote:Daytona for the first time.

Thanks. Very possible that the size is perfect, although the pics tend to exaggerate the watch size a tad due to the wide angle lens perspective distortion. But at 39mm the watch size is absolutely fine, just smaller than almost every other watch I have.jtbenson wrote: you're crazy, size is perfect, looks great on you.
One other issue I have with the watch is that I think it would look better with black day and date wheels (better dial balance). Easily remedied the next time it goes in for service. The newer IWC pilots all have black day/date wheels.
Also, occasionally I want to time two events (e.g., when cooking) and I miss having a rotating bezel.
