The ultimate Seiko Alpinist Collector’s Guide

Post by ghostface » Wed Feb 10, 2016 2:47 am

Hi guys, I have just put together a collector’s guide on the Seiko Alpinist series.

Please check it out here: http://thespringbar.com/seiko-alpinist- ... ors-guide/

It's a watch I have always wanted and since I’m trying to take my collecting more seriously I have (with lots help) put together a guide to help myself and hopefully others.

The goal is to help better understand:

- Which variations might be worth more in future
- What does an original version look like

I am by no means an expert, but we did put over 100 hours of research into the piece so I'm sure it will be helpful to some other users.

I would love feedback as I want to make this guide better. I'm sure we missed important facts that should be added so please comment here or PM me with any notes.

Looks good, I'm going to get a cup of coffee and find some time this morning to read it.
