Mr shy guy himself let reporters inside his factory where the 2012 pre orders are ALMOST finished.

-
After the last "Swiss" dial was applied to this run, they celebrated and Mr Yao took them all out to dinner.

-
And finally a shot of his booth at Basel 2016.

I don't get all the "lol"'ing, "rofl"ing and what not. Mr Yao took his own precious time to give this tour.

What ever happened with those "one of a kind" prototypes that were stolen from his shop? I recall he was robbed a while back, but don't recall hearing any resolution or whether the watches were recovered.

I actually talked to him about that recently, everything has been recovered and he actually shared a pic of the "one of a kind" with me to share with you kids!

A very questionable time in MkII history. Barely a peep from Yao in years and all of the sudden a dozen "prototypes" (aka Yao's personal collection) are stolen and barely a mention on his abuse of time. Instead it was sympathy and the occasional "Wow, those watches are rad!"

Once again, he did graduate from a highly touted business school. He must be doing something right.
I'm willing to bet his student loans are all paid for,

It's a beautiful world! Gerald.
