Yeah, I just noticed they don't have the J for all versions. It's the first place I've seen both J and K options. And they're still not cheap, creation is usually the cheapest outlet in my experience.

Speaking of SRPs, my 777 is on the way home with the new second hand.

That looks cool, can't wait to settle on a model and start doing little things to it. Already have Sapphire crystal sitting and waiting for it :)

what??? :banplz:
Yeah, I'm OCD, I can't take bezel misallignment, it literally rasied my blood pressure every time I looked at my wrist
I'm actually loving the bezel alignment issue, because it's helped me to not actually buy one new. Will wait until people start flipping these, and pick up a 773 with a perfectly aligned chapter ring, for < $200

Not a bad plan, but I'm not sure <$200 is going to happen any time soon. I think it's funny when ballers hold out for $100.

I sold mine for what I paid for it, so no loss there.
So BLNR and Coke, have to wait until may?

Why Seiko did not do this in the first place is beyond me. I'm a big fan of the meatball being on the correct end of the second hand.

It's a head scratcher. But I guess like so many people say, they get so many watches "almost" right, and leave out that one little detail. But this really was a no brainer..

Love that second hand mod. I might have to hit up Duarte to do that to mine.

I understood the "Japan" ones just had "mov't Japan" on the dial, as Brice's did. I believe it's the same watch, just different dial printing based on intended destination market.

If I'm incorrect please set me right.

I'm pretty sure you're correct, but I'll pay 20 bucks more for MADE IN JAPAN on the dial, I'm an elitist on my own budget

The thing is, it doesn't actually say "made in Japan" it says "Japan mov't" which isn't really the same. I realize I'm nit picking, but since it's the same watch is prefer the less cluttered dial.
Now, if it actually read "made in Japan" I would prefer that too. To me it implies a watch made elsewhere with a Japanese movement, much like a cheap watch with a "Swiss Mvm't" designation (which I think is cheap looking). Left without, the Seiko implies a Japanese watch.

Well fuck me! Now I need another one. :(

It appears there are three dials; Made in Japan, Mov't Japan, and the one like mine.

Yeah I wouldn't chase it on purpose but since I sold my blue one anyway of course I'm gonna go for MIJ version when I get one.
