Monta Noble & Atlas case differences

Post by toxicavenger » Fri Dec 30, 2022 11:04 pm

I have read quite a few reviews and watched some video's and they all seem to say these two models use the watch case. This is not the case. The midcase on the Noble (bottom one in the pic) is about .9mm thinner. And the dropped edges of the sides of the case (I put red lines on them) are smaller. Not a big difference at all, but it does show that they actually did make another case for the watch. I also believe the case back on the Atlas is thicker, but I won't know for certain unless I remove it. I believe it is only about .5mm thicker.

All of this really isn't much of a difference in the longrun, since they both fit on the wrist perfectly.

Take care BOD's!

Interesting. The case on my Triumph looks exactly like the Noble.

The triumph and noble are def the same case.

I think the atlas shares the same case as the skyquest (not the new one), without the bezel. Would make sense as need the extra depth for the added hand, and diff case back.

But all in all, these watches are probably the best in class, and punch well above their weight.

They’ve had at least 5 case sizes over the last 4 years. It seems the Noble and Triumph share the same small case, the Oceanking ( now discontinued) had two, and Atlas and the skyquest each have their own.

I’m a fan of my Triumph V2 and Oceanking V2 thanks to Capt. E!

That is neat Terry, a lot of times people trust different articles, as well as
videos but some times they are wrong right?! ;) This is the perfect example
here with these two Monta models. And even though they do look similar,
you are revealing that they are indeed different. :salute:

Have to thank you for the excellent detective work, as well as pics !!!
