Helm's Miyako

Post by AtomicTom » Wed Jan 19, 2022 5:01 pm

Not sure if everyone saw this one recently.

Helm's Miyago has a 40mm stainless steel case, 200m WR, domed
sapphire crystal, stainless steel bezel with sapphire insert, cool
slate gray, and navy blue dials with Old Radium SLN hands, as well
as markers, and numbers, the Miyota 9015. In addition, you have
stainless steel bracelets, and nylon straps to choose from also.

Some pictures for you...

Looks pretty nice, and has a decent price. I was ready to hate the date location, but I think it as actually okay. Looks like it rides a bit high on the wrist though.

Thanks Tom!

Not my taste for the dial design but I love that caseback. Helm has a tremendous following, I know these will sell.

The real thanks goes to you guys ! ;) :salute: :)

Was thinking how these overall have a nice traditional way about them, but
aren't cookie cutter at all. One second, at first glance they look a classic dive
watch. However, up close, a second later you see these have some wonderful
details that help them separate from the pack. 8-) And on top of that, many
of the things that might bug us like the date, actually seem to work, and look
nice at the end of the day.

Helm seems to know how to really give you a lot of fantastic detail in their
watches. And the ideas they have really only add to the watches personalities
honestly. It's pretty terrific.
