I had a chance to see these in the flesh a few weeks ago. They are nice, case shape and size is good.
I like the clean look of the orange dial and white dial is nice too but I am not sure about the overall result with the red hands. Its a quirky idea but is it too quirky?

Thanks, Tom. I’m in for the lume dial. Will be cheap fun next summer!

Oh neat Jeremy, that must have been so much fun. Wow !
can't thank you enough for that look at those !!!
You know, Jeremy, and Steve, and Tom I don't think they are too quirky.
Because even though the thinking is seemingly outside the box. The all
around designs are still very traditional in that they look like dive watches.
Rather than something that you can't identify, or has too many things going
on.
These watches might grab our attention, but they do it in a nostalgic way,
and the funky personalities are still really well done, and thought out.
Honestly is so awesome that you actually will be getting one of these Tom !
I mean they look fantastic just seeing the pics from Jeremy, as well as
links. So in person they are going to be really something I think sir.
Can't say enough how cool it is that you will be getting one.
A HUMUNGOUS congratulations ahead of time to you there, and thanks
so much for your two cents as always guys !!!

To clarify, I like the burnt orange dial Hydrium, but the other reminds me of one of those plastic toy clocks that kids learn to tell time on.

I thought that was the point of the lume dial, to be kind of an inside joke. Like, I'm finished with work, so I'm putting on the plastic clock and it's beer thirty.
Our watchmaker hangs a "Back in 5 Cuban Minutes" clock sign on the door when he leaves, and could be gone for hours

The hands look too small.

Totally understand Steve, the Will Return does have that feel to it like Tom
said. It's a serious watch I think, but is supposed to be both nostalgic,
and fun at the same time. But yes, the burnt orange is really neat too sir !
Just that color alone rocks, but then the design is somehow eye-cayching, and
subtle all at once. ..I always love that combo.
And Hoppy, you make great point with the hands. It would take some getting
used to, but I guess they tried to mirror what the original signs looked like.
Thanks a lot as always for sharing your thoughts everyone !!!
