Cincinnati Watch Co.’s Captain Colorway

Post by AtomicTom » Fri Sep 17, 2021 4:59 pm

Guys, have you by chance seen the Cincinnati Watch Co's new
Captain Colorway?

A part of the Time Hill Collection, these new watches have 36mm
stainless steel cases, 50m WR, acrylic crystals, neat Pistachio, Ice
Blue, and Grapefruit sunray dials with SLN on both the hands, and
numbers, Ronda 713 quartz movement, and stainless steel bracelets,
too.

Some pics everyone...

I really like these, except for the name”colorway”. Who made up that word anyway?

Also, I hope their attention to detail improves. It is a shame that they put out promotional photos using a watch with a bent seconds hand. :banghead:

Am liking these too Mike, and Eric !! :salute: :salute:

Mike, I think the name just refers to the colors, but the name
is still Captain, so that’s cool sir.

Oh, and by the way, I didn’t even notice that hand. We’ll just
chalk it up to the watches being new, and maybe prototypes.

They really do look easy to read though as you said Eric, not to
mention easy on the eyes with the cool colors. :)

As always, can’t thank you guys enough for giving your opinions,
and honestly just telling it like it is !!!

What great looking watches! Nice to see it can be done with a simple formula. Dial has an Oris feel but that's not a bad thing. Great looking case shape too. Not sure 36mm wears but overall it looks good

Am totally with you guys on these !! They look beautiful really. :)
It's the perfect mix of everything we like about watches right?!
From a terrific style, and design, to a simple, yet dynamic feel,
or personality thanks to those dials. It's a watch that really grabs
you.

Thanks so so much for chiming in, and sharing your thoughts !!
