Winfield MT-Auto Pre-release

Post by toxicavenger » Wed Sep 01, 2021 7:39 pm

I ordered this last week. I really like this shade of blue. Since the crystal has outer ar it changes to different shades according to how much light there is. Specs: Metal movement holder, double gasket crown and case back, drilled lugs, double domed sapphire crystal and and an NH35 movement all packaged in a 200m blasted stainless steel case.

Ample C3 lume with numbers highlighted with a black outline. The darker blue chapter ring add a nice depth. 41mm diameter with a 48mm lug to lug.

I know nothing about the brand, but the specs are right up my alley.

Color match the date wheel to the dial and 3-D print the lumed hour markers and Yao would charge $2K for (along with an infinite waiting period).

They are in assembly right now in Ohio (LumTec). He normally does not do pre-releases but I have been badgering him about the blue dial since I saw it.

You can contact him at Mark@winfieldwatch.com :salute:

They are based in Maryland. I met the owner because he was building one-off Flieger, so we did some business together. He wanted to start his own brand so he invested heavily to get it going. He does not do PRE-ORDERS, he believes in using his own cash to fund his watches for right now.

The watches are assembled by LumTec in Ohio. They have the resources to put out a great watch for the price. These watches also use some killer lume. I talking Seiko+ lume.

Oh man, that is going to be awesome Terry ! :headbang: 8-) :)

It looks like it is built like a tank, and ticks all the boxes you
could ever want, or need it too. Plus the blue really is unique
too to tell the truth ! :o ..It will stand out in the watch box
sir, but most importantly on the wrist !

Have to thank you for the news on this one !!!

Oh, and wish you a GIANT congratulations ahead of time !!!

I like the blue dial but it doesn’t match many straps except black.
