I’m a huge fan. If I didn’t get the Carnegie a few months back I’d snatch it. Maybe sell to buy this

SPECIFICATIONS

CASE - 40.5mm diameter, 12.2mm depth (14.7mm to dome peak), 44mm lug-to lug, 42mm pin-to-pin

MATERIAL - 316L marine grade stainless steel

FINISH - Polished top bezel, brushed lug tops, harlequin pattern engraved flanks, polished bellytanker shaped case back with exhibition flat sapphire glass portal

INNER BEZEL - Raised telemetre bezel

DIAL - Matte black dial with polished steel train track hour markers infilled with natural white Super-LumiNova, silver white turned texture 'big-eye' bias cut minute sub-dial counter, seconds sub-dial set on dial surface, matching date at 6

HANDS - Polished steel mint green Super-LumiNova infill sword style hour/minute hands, sky blue split hand, teal and signal orange sub-dial counters

CROWN - Straight solid stainless steel, machined bronze inset cap featuring embossed Farer ‘A'

MONO-PUSHER - Capped recessed button in polished 316L stainless steel

GLASS - Double layer underside anti-reflective coating curved box cased sapphire crystal, flat sapphire exhibition glass on rear

STRAP - St Venere leather strap with 316L stainless steel buckle fastening

LUG- 20mm

WATER RESISTANT - 10ATM


MOVEMENT

Swiss Made Sellita SW510 MP Elaboré grade moment finished with heated blue screws and guilloché finishing on bridge. Bespoke Farer navy rotor and orange lettering

FUNCTIONS
Hours, minutes, 60 second chronograph, 30 minute counter at 3, small seconds at 9. Quick set date, hacking capability

WINDING - Self-winding mechanism with ball bearing

POWER RESERVE - Up to 62 hours


MODERN HERITAGE


As well as having serious watchmaking heritage behind it, the SW510 MP is an up-to-the minute, self-winding movement with 23 jewels, running at 28’800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). An Elaboré grade movement, adjusted in three positions (to minimise any effect of gravity on the balance wheel’s oscillation) with enhanced power reserve, delivering up to 62 hour power reserve. On closer inspection you'll see the custom finishing with beautifully heat-blued screws, guilloché detailing on the bridge and a custom navy blue turbine rotor design with striking orange branded lettering.

I like it too.

I might have missed it in Matt's specs, but it uses a Sellita SW510 chronograph movement, with custom finishing by Farer.

Farer does some really neat things with their watches
imho. They don’t seem content to just do the usual,
or ordinary. But rather do things to make their watches
extraordinary. :)

I mean from a distance, or at first glance these look
almost vintage. However, up close they really grab you
thanks to the refined design, as well as nice touches
of color.
