Horizon's Nautilus

Post by AtomicTom » Sat Aug 07, 2021 10:08 am

Hey guys, have you by chance heard of Horizon Watches before?

Their very first watch, the Nautilus is named after Captain Nemo’s
famous submarine from Jules Verne’s Twenty Thousand Leagues
Under the Sea. Having details like 42mm stainless steel, or bronze
cases, 300m WR, sapphire crystals, dials in Aegean Blue, Salmon
Sand, Myrtle Green, and Cardinal Red with nicely designed hands,
markers, and numbers. Then you have vulcanized rubber straps,
as well as Seiko NH35A behind it all.

Just a few pics..

Thanks for sharing, Tom.

While not my cuppa, it’s definitely unique.

The dial has an Art Deco feel. Not something I’d buy but it is unique.

Definitely not my cuppa tea either but the dial and hands look well made. I like what they've done with the 3, 6 & 9 indices. Nice find Tom.

I like them and I don't.

The green is my favorite; might order one - always wanted to try a bronze, green dialed watch.

Wow, it’s so neat that you guys are liking these. :)

To be honest, I wasn’t sure how everyone would feel
about them because they are so different. But they
are really well done, and the unique style is really
cool as well as classic at the same time right?!

They look amazing imho, and yowza, Matt, you are
thinking of picking one up? :o ..That is awesome !!!

Let us know if you do end up going for that beautiful
green. 8-)

Have to thank you guys for your thoughts on these !!!
