Roebuck Watch Co.'s Scuba
Roebuck Watch Co.'s Scuba
Hey everyone, remember Roebuck's Alpha Series, and Diviso from a
couple years back?
Now their new watch the Scuba is in the works it looks like. With just
a few of the details looking to include 42mm stainless steel cases, flat
sapphire crystals, 120 click uni-directional knurled bezels with sapphire
inserts, colorful sunburst dials with SLN coated hands, and sporty rubber
straps. In addition, you have the Miyota 90S5 (no date) and 9015 (date
version) automatic movements behind really cool case-backs too.

I like those a lot Tom. My favourite being the all grey one but their website says they will come in only 3 colour versions and the all grey isn't one of them.
Nice looking watch at a very reasonable price

Am I the only old guy who expected to see an old Sears & Roebuck Co watch?

different combinations that range from extremely sporty, to very classy. Yet only
seem to have a few models. It's interesting, and I wonder if at some point in the
the future, if the project is funded, that they will indeed add the all grey sir.
Hoppy, no, you aren't the only one. Sears & Roebuck totally comes to mind.
Am not sure how many people know about the classic name, but can imagine that
anyone above a certain age immediately makes the connection.
Matt, you have some eye for detail there, because I didn't even see the lume on
the crown until just now. Was noticing the mix of colors, and how the hour hand
was cathedral-like, but didn't notice the crown sir. Very cool, and the watches in
general just look fun.
As always, want to thank everyone just for looking, but especially for chiming in !!!
