Batavi's Kosmopoliet GMT Divers

Post by AtomicTom » Fri Mar 27, 2020 10:27 am

Not sure if everyone caught Batavi's Kosmopoliet GMT Divers.

The Amsterdam based watch company's new GMTs will have 39mm
stainless steel cases, 200m WR, double domed sapphire crystals,
sapphire diver's bezels, sunburst sandwich dials with SLN hands,
along with markers, stainless steel bracelets, NATO, and rubber
straps, optional leather strap, plus special ETA 2893-2 inside too.

Interesting, I'm not sold on those 'pre-faded' bezels. I want to like the first one, but something doesn't fully flow for me

I am quite liking these. I think the dial in particular looks good, simple and clean. Not sure on some of the bezel colour combinations though. Got a good vintage vibe and look like they are years old already

I was all set to hate the faded looking bezels, but I think they actually look pretty good.

I don’t get a GMT no date.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

That blue dialed model has a really nice laid back look, although the GMT hand stands out too much. I agree with earlier comment that it should have date.
