It's 45mm so it should wear like 41-42mm

A wanna be puck.
Micro brands have become desperate when it comes to design, likely in an effort to be unique. They have lost my interest, likely for good.
My advice to micro makers; keep it simple, timeless, and remember "less is more".

For the most part they've been coming out with some nice looking watches, but they get a fail on this one.

I like the dial...... Really dislike the bezel / case.
I liked their original concept rendering for it much better than what is actually going into production.

I like Borealis and most of their watches but this one is not for me.
But I don't do round lug-less watches in general. I find them all ugly and odd on the wrist including the Puck and Tunas for example.

Pretty cool IMO, but then again, I've always like the vintage Aquadive and Jenny Caribbean models.

They should have made the crown smaller and case thicker. The exposed HEV looks a bit unfinished/strange

FWIW, while i agree with you, sometimes the micros are caught btwn a rock and a hard place.
we tell them, "be original." then, "wtf is that monstrosity?"
now, to be fair, most of the time that just proves that they don't have the design skills to be a successful watch designer and that they're better off just making "homages." most of the micros out there don't have real designers, it's just some dude (or dudette, i guess) hodgepodging stuff together.
it's hard to be original when a lot of great ideas have already been put out there and even a lot of established brands are "homaging" their own vintage designs. but there are micros out there doing it.

That might be the first time I've seen comment that the case needs to be thicker.

borealis loses me with the "logo." and i have to put that in quotes, because it's just the word "borealis" in times new roman. it may have been done in powerpoint. if you can't at least go beyond the default microsoft fonts, ugh.

Same here. They could build the perfect watch and I wouldn't be able to look past that shitty font. Same with Bernhardt.
