It isn't the person who has one micro brand homage watch that grates me that much. It is the person who has a collection full of micro brand homage watches.

It is the difference between the guy who has one Tiffany song in his playlist because its a catchy tune and makes him smile versus the guy who buys the entire Tiffany album.

While I can see where you are coming from, some watches that are cheap ''homages'' are not so far away from the real one in quality, that you are paying 10x the price for in many cases. Like getting shafted from behind without the courtesy of a reach around.

Well, in defense of the shafting community, the "reach around" does require a bit more effort. Hence, the additional cost. I learned this while doing my reading on DGF (Disc Golf Forum) last week.

I'm not sure if the Chinese watch catalogs have a "reach around" option.

A wanna be puck.

Micro brands have become desperate when it comes to design, likely in an effort to be unique. They have lost my interest, likely for good.

My advice to micro makers; keep it simple, timeless, and remember "less is more".
Yep. I was thinking Puck meets Helson Turtle. Ugly.
