Screen captures......bronze with ceramic bezel and black dial is nice, especially with the bronze tone hands.

I had a hammerhead and the lume in the glamour shots was much better than in person. Still a nice piece, i may consider this one.

I think the Helmsman 1 came with a miyota 9015. Sad to see this one uses a lower beat mvmt. Not a deal breaker though. ImageImageImageImageImage

I wish he didn't go with the huge block of white for the inner bezel (or that he at least provided other options). It stands out just a bit too much for me.

Seems like a hell of a deal for $370 though.

That's the bit I actually like. Most designers focus on the 1st 20mins, but this one plays in reverse. It's a nice look and a cool change from the normal. I like the fine details on the hands, too. Thank you for the close-up pics!
Some people just have a way with words, and other people … oh … not have way.

It looks fine on the black dial, but it ruins all the other dial options.

Ahh. I see what you mean. Looking at the site, the black does look much cooler than the others. Meteorite dial is just weird.

That lume shot is nice. It was a 10 sec exposure.

How is the lume in general. Compared to say a seiko diver?

I would say the lume is well above standard, but do not feel it is Seiko lume. But there is a lot of surface area and it seems to hold the lume for a good many hours in the dark.
