Hemlig Q - Preorder is open
Hey guys,
I’m considering doing a run of Hemlig quartz watches with a Swiss movement. Same specs as the automatic version and would come on the same strap. Target price is $249.
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Todd

What an interesting idea.
Hemlig Quartz - Thoughts?

I would avoid the VH motor as it kinda seems to eat batteries. If you can source the ETA with heavy drive, even if if made the price $50 more, I believe it would be a better choice and more desirable.

Re: Hemlig Q - What do you guys think?
Or you could do one with a Seiko Automatic movement... heck, even MKII put the Seiko movement in the Paradive...
Re: Hemlig Q - What do you guys think?
It would be epically awesome just to see Todd !!!

Re: Hemlig Q - What do you guys think?
Would be really cool, agree with @hoppyjr.
Because Watchdives already has a similar model for around 100$.

The production of a quartz version seems logical provided it maintains the same construction quality as the automatic model. For $229 buyers can easily purchase this watch because it provides excellent usability. The white-tipped second hand resonates best to me because it maintains a refined appearance alongside adequate visibility.

That’d be cool. Use the same ETA Paul uses in his DiverOne one

What’s the deal with the AI generated posts, Moris? Please have a non-AI answer or that will be your final post on DWC.Moris24 wrote:The production of a quartz version seems logical provided it maintains the same construction quality as the automatic model. I'm sorry, English is not my first language. I use AI to translate, but it also changes the phrasing, which is why it sounds so unnatural.CGSshorty wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 7:59 amWhat’s the deal with the AI generated posts, Moris? Often translating nonsense, AI also brings meaning from my native language.hoppyjr wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2025 3:55 pmTry Google translate instead?Moris24 wrote:I'm sorry, English is not my first language.
