NTH Watches Final Update: Clearance Sale & Warranty Support Details

To my many customers, friends, and fans of NTH,

Due to global economic conditions and increased business challenges, it is with deep regret that I announce NTH has ceased watch production, and will be ending business operations within the next few months.

I am of course very sorry to disappoint NTH customers and fans. Unfortunately, this decision was unavoidable.

We will continue to provide warranty support to customers who contact us before we cease operations.

Effective immediately, we will be selling our stock of accessories and replacement parts, including items never offered for sale, through the NTH website, at discounted prices. These parts include:

Replacement steel watch cases for our 40mm Subs, 2K1 Subs, and the DevilRay.
20mm and 22mm bracelets & straps
20mm and 18mm clasps
Replacement bezel inserts for our 40mm Subs, 2K1 Subs, and the DevilRay.
Replacement crystals for our 40mm Subs, 2K1 Subs, and the DevilRay.
Spare bracelet links for our 40mm Subs, 2K1 Subs, and the DevilRay.
Leather Travel Cases
UV lume torches

As we will be ceasing operations, and these items are being sold at a discount, all sales will be final, and no returns accepted.

Thank you all, for your years of supporting my business.

Yours truly,

Chris Vail

Just saw that - I never owned one but still sad to see just the same.
I hope this is a one-off and not the tip of the iceberg for small companies

Never owned an NTH, but people who have seemed to speak highly of them, and that says a lot.

Wonder if the rise in popularity of AliExpress brands was what torpedoed his business? San Martin seems to play in the same space as NTH, and competing on price with Chinese brands head-to-head would seem to be a losing game.

NTH prices have increased a couple hundred since I last looked at his site. Either his parts costs skyrocketed or he lost a big chunk of his customers.

Dealing with China is certainly a big factor, but another consideration is that the market for watches has slowed. Just look at all the FS posts here of members looking to depopulate their watch holdings, many listing for very attractive prices. Micro brands are the most disposable ones.
No, it's not Tourettes.

Seemed like his prices have been going up for a few years and he might have priced himself out of the niche he was in. I do know Watchgauge website sold to a new owner a while back and they have been trying to dump NTH for a minute.

Either way I hate to see any business fold up, even if I wasn't a buyer.
