From a new post on IG from Perezscope on an auction of a Daytona with a dial that was tampered with:

I'm guessing UTS is no longer around? Same with Ennebi? Haven't heard much about either in a long time. Both had some great watches, but the market for large watches is so small now. Even panerai backed away from 47mm and started emphasizing 40mm luminor and radiomir.

Ennebi is still producing watches.

Because years ago. Sylvester Stalone bought 50 Panerais and gifted it to Hollywood friends. They “owe” millions to him cus of that.

That UTS is so cool !

I didn’t realize UTS stopped production. I was always afraid of their heft and never tried one, tempted many times on the Dwc sales forum.

Me either. The only thing I think is comparable is Ennebi.

I suppose the question should have been what are the similarities between UTS and Panerai?
Let’s start with large cases, stark dials, for the most part created as divers, and singular visions (I’m talking Panerai before let’s say 2010).

The UTS Adventure is Panerai’sh with that crown guard.

True, more so than the UTS divers.

I recently went on the ennebi site and looked around. Couldn’t tell initially if they were still in business or not. Dreadful website. Looks like they’re still very much in the huge watch game but you basically have to put in a custom order if you’re interested.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s a really fantastic question J, because they do seem to be compatible. ;)
As you pointed out, the designs are incredibly unique as well as cool. :salute: ;)
Even if they are totally different looks wise, the imagination, quality, as
well as wow factor actually make them more than compatible to Panerai.

Hey maybe somehow Mr. Stallone will find out about these and then UTS
would be more visible to people. :excited: :)

Such a phenomenal topic J !!!

Thanks Tom. I don’t think any more UTS are forthcoming. The owner has been unavailable for a while.
