Since Paul posted this in another thread I thought it is a worth addition here. I am really liking this version.

I think it's over-designed. Simple is better. Plain black chapter ring, matte bezel, etc.

Agreed, dump the HE valve and add drilled lugs.

I'd hit it as is, although agree with the above mods as well. I would also paint the entire seconds hand red... when you're on the move (even just doing sit ups) it's often hard to see the tiny tip of a seconds hand - I like the whole thing to stand out.

Just curious if anyone picked this up and if so, what's your thoughts? I miss my original Vortex and stumbled across this model over at WUS. While doing a google search for the model, DWC came up on this thread.

Looks pretty great to me Terry, and it still has all of the top notch quality
boxes checked off as well. Can only imagine, the new size will attract
even more people sir. ..Always just loved the controlled aggression
way of these. Honestly didn't know about this new version either, so thanks

Ya, I bumped it guys wondering if anyone picked this up and their thoughts on it. 39mm seems a bit small as the original Vortex I has was a decent size for me and I think that one was 43 or even 44mm case.
