Delta's Hydra

Post by AtomicTom » Mon Mar 02, 2020 10:48 am

Has anyone checked out Delta Watch's Hydra by chance?

Just saw it, or them, thanks to a give away A Blog To Watch is having.

Seems like the watch has a Ploprof-like feel, along with 50mm stainless steel
case, 2000m WR, a single domed sapphire crystal, helium escape valve, black
dials with luminous hands, and markers. Plus black, or orange aluminum bezel
inserts, stainless steel bracelets, and Seiko NH35 automatic behind nice case-
back.

A few pics for you...

It appears the "button" is the He valve and not a bezel lock like the Ploprof it seems to be channeling

The orange one has it all. Three shades of orange. Four or five fonts. Plasticky chrome text on the dial. Case designed by at least three separate people with different visions.

It's true, it's not for everyone guys, but just thought the look, and the
specifications were impressive overall, and especially for the price.

I know a few companies have made Ploprof homages, but this is a touch
different, and caught the eye. Plus just hadn't seen it before either.
Appreciate everyone's honesty as always. Thanks so much everyone !!! :)

These are interesting. I even emailed Bill, the owner about some questions I had. The problem is I just can't get past that Invicta looking plaque on the side of the case. ...Otherwise I might have purchased the black dial one.
