Not sure if you guys have had time to see these new Makara watches.

The Sea Serpent will have a 42mm stainless steel, bronze, or black PVD
coated stainless steel case, a double domed scratch resistant sapphire
crystal, 100m WR, nice crowns, matte black dials with luminous hands,
and markers, Miyota's 8S20 automatic movement, and special black
silicone straps also.

Some pictures for you...

I just threw up in my mouth a little.

That guy had a big forum presence on WUS when he was initially trying to sell his watches, but when quality issues arose, he ghosted his customers like the douchebag he is. Even if he made a watch that appealed to me, I wouldn't spend a penny with him.
No, it's not Tourettes.

Oh wow, didn't realize there were issues like that Chuck. :(

Just saw these for the first time yesterday, and wanted to post about
the news of them. Had no idea.

Yup ! I was one of them. 3 different flaws/issues, including a super easy to spot hair under the sapphire bezel insert by pip. Ended up losing money on shipping to Canada. I assumed 3 issues warranted shipping refund too. I don’t need the shipping money, it was just the principle. Oh and took him a month to refund after receiving it.

If he made something absolutely irresistible, I’d pass. If I saw his preowned watch at stupid low $50 deal, I’d pass 100pct.
