Had one of these before and wanted one again, so my wife got me one as an early birthday present meaning I cannot sell it this time. It also means I'll likely have to figure out what options are available once the 6R takes a shit and goes completely possessed. Right now it's 7sec fast/day.
Having owned the explorer and 36mm DJ, I can say with confidence this is the best wearing alternative at 39.5mm and with a comfortable oyster bracelet. All the specs are explained better than I ever could HERE, but thought I'd give some quick shots on my 7.5" wrist. And while i'm not a huge fan of cyclops in general, this one is tiny and works rather well for its intended purpose.

They nailed this one. I am warming up to the cyclops. How is the fit of the bracelet at the case?

One playing card thick gap on the inside of one lug and I don’t see daylight whatsoever on the other lugs. Where the curved part of the bracelet meets the case I see no light on either side

I really like these. I plan to get one eventually. For now I have this that I’m happy with but I like the design, especially having 200m of water resistance.

I am, of course, way behind the curve. What model is that one?
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

I love the these Alpinists (especially the "baby" version), I just wish the lume plots were bigger. Can't imagine these are nearly as legible at zero dark thirty as a typical dive watch which has relatively huge lume plots. And they are chonky to boot.
Sweet watches though, I'll have one at some point regardless
