I’m not 100% on this, but everything I’ve found points to this being the case.
Makes sense, their JDM/international versions are always identical except for model # if I'm not mistaken.

Design is nice but just too small for pushers of that size. It bugs me

Didn't they do a quartz-powered Bullhead reissue a while back?

Yes.

They’re very hard to come by now and command more than the original in some cases — which I find ludicrous. I should have gotten the root beer version from seiya when I had the chance.

Did everyone have a chance to see Seiko's Prospex Sea Turtle U.S. Special Edition?

The watches have turtle shell-like patterned brown, blue, and turquoise dials,
45mm stainless steel cases, 200m WR, sapphire crystals, both stainless steel
bracelets, and rubber straps, plus the caliber 4R36 automatic movement too.

Here is a look...

The thanks goes to YOU guys !!

Great eye David ! :salute: ..I didn't even notice that at first, but it does
actually look really great without the cyclops. It's simpler, and cooler !
Honestly lets you enjoy the watch even more without it.

Dave, that brown really is eye-catching ! :o It gives the Turtle an even
richer look come to think of it. And you can imagine how it would be
in person, and in different light, or lighting.

It would make a nice beater if it had a beater price tag.

The new solar chrono just arrived a few minutes ago. Really well done for the money, even the bracelet is pretty nice. Image

Thanks David. I'm pretty impressed with it. It's no secret I'm a seiko fan, but usually the first thing I do is remove the bracelet and store it in the box, but this one is actually nice. I do have a seiko rubber strap on standby though.

New Seiko Thread

This could be my exit Seiko Image Looks like a slimed down LX SNR029 minus the huge crown.

SLA055 LE of 1300

200m, 42.6mm diameter, 8L35 movement, Ever-brilliant steel case ( Seiko’s version of 904L), Chocolate bar strap. Hopefully Seiko doesn’t make it thicker than 13.5mm.

Price? I’m guessing $4.5k

I like that, but at $4.5k, I don't want an "X" on the dial.

I really like that one!

I’ve eyed those for quite a while and just haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

If only that 3 o’clock sub dial was able to be set to track a second time zone! How cool that would be!

Very nice. Seiko is really overlapping with Grand Seiko with their upper level watches.
