Is that Samurai case Ti? I like the dial a lot. Strap also looks great.

I don’t think so. It’s probably either blasted or some kind of matte plating.Joeprez wrote:Is that Samurai case Ti? I like the dial a lot. Strap also looks great.

Yeah, this is hot. I'm glad they brought back the hands and general design aesthetic from the SBBN015 Tuna on this one. It isn't cheap though.

The new sapphire really makes it more legible without all the distortion of the older models. I couldn’t stand it on my old SBBN007.
The new dial, hand set and lume pip is much nicer too, of course IMO. Plus I never liked the last generations hand set and lume pip.

Re: New Seiko Thread
I’m getting sucked into Tuna land. I started with an 025 Arnie, then I bought the STBR007 as a smaller Tuna. My wife stole that one so I bought a 497 Solar Tuna. Awesome watch. Now, dammit, I want the new 045.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

I’m having Tuna withdrawals myself. The 045 has everything I want in a Tuna.

Re: New Seiko Thread
Did we touch on these new limited edition Seiko Prospex models
already guys?
All three help to celebrate Seiko’s 140th Anniversary, as well
as pay tribute to the island of Iriomote. With details like the
cool green dials, 300m water resistance (SLA047), 200m WR
for the SPB207, and SSC807, nice diver’s bezels, and bracelets.
Along with Seiko Caliber 8L35 within the SLA047, 6R35 within
the SPB207, as well as V192 solar movement in the SSC807 too.
Just a few pictures everybody...

Re: New Seiko Thread
I really like the Sumo. I really think I should have kept mine even though it wore too big, but the parts of the Sumo that seem elegant and classy are completely ruined by the PADI treatment. For something that looks so good on the NAFT seems to have completely ruined any modesty the Sumo had.AtomicTom wrote: ↑Tue Jan 19, 2021 11:23 amThinking a lot of you guys may have seen these. On reading what I just wrote that seems really harsh and I’m still posting it because I feel it is accurate. Oh and since the newer sapphire model has came out the new hands, while only slightly different that the original ones suck and now it costs double what it used to. Meh.
