Damn I like that! For $1400 I am not sure if I am a buyer. Now around 700-800 I will be down.

We were spoiled for years with the SBBN007 10+ years ago. IIRC I paid $400 for mine.

Hopefully the typical 20-25% discount will be available at release date

At least Seiko learned its lesson for once... Now if we can just get them to downsize more offerings. The new 6r35 6105 is a start.

I dislike that small plot to the right of the day/date, and not digging the black day/date wheel. SBBN015/007 is where it's at.

Absolutely. When I see registers at 6,9,12 like this it reminds me of the early Tudor chronographs.

If I weren't trying to position myself for the upcoming SPB151J1 I might bite.

1st watch, gets a misaligned chapter ring but gets a +7.2 Avg s/d movement.

2nd watch gets a perfect aligned chapter ring but gets a +13.5 Avg s/d movement. This got a +16.9 s/d on one measurement dial down so that's out of spec but next day got a +12 same dial down.

3rd watch gets a perfect aligned chapter ring but gets a -10 to -3.6 Avg s/d Avg s/d movement. This watch is negative in all but maybe 2 positions and thats why it dropped to -3.6 Avg but have seen it get as bad a -12.8 s/d.

These are taken with WatchCheck app in all 6 positions so can be out a bit but gives a solid idea of the variability of these watch movements."

Jacob, the 6R15s has a plethora of topics surrounding time keeping and amplitude. It’s a crap shoot. Hopefully the 6R35 addresses this but there’s not much forum data on the newer movement yet.

If the 6r35 is anything like the 6r15 in that regard, the percentage of it staying is low.

By that I mean it will eventually drift back to where it was. I've only had two regulated, and that was my experience. I've read others have had better luck. I'm just done with that movement.
