Listen here Hop Sing, don't ruin a good thread with details.
So yeah I'm deep into it, but it's the way to go with one of these if you want it to glow and not worry about getting it wet.

Agreed. It's not a "cheap Seiko" with upgrades, it's a classic, high quality watch brought back to life for many more years of service, at a price you couldn't match for a new watch of the same quality.logan2z wrote:That doesn't sound too bad at all, especially considering the result.BBK357 wrote:Full service and sapphire crystal was just under $250, dial and new hands with relume was $105.hoppyjr wrote:Me so sorry small hooded onelilhoody wrote:hoppyjr wrote:What was the time & cost for all this?

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

That is fantastic Ben. I would much rather have this rather than a certain well known homage with a storm wave name. Congrats.

Sweet. Looks perfect.

That is a great look, I really appreciate the sympathetic resto, IMHO when these watches are zero timed they loose a lot of appeal.
