The Ananta has a very distinctive profile especially viewed from the side. The katana inspired design of the case sides is really unique and works very well with the cylindrical inner case. The watch is actually made up of 2 parts. The inner case holds the movt and dial while the outer case is made up of the lugs and distinctive sides of the watch. Some surfaces are polished, other brushed.

The polished surfaces are specially polished by the "Blade polishing ' technique. It is polished by hand by only 5 of Seiko's skilled craftsmen. You'll think that the polished surfaces will be a scratch magnet...These watches have some use and keep unmarked.

The official measurements are:
Case: 46mm wide x 51mm length x 15mm thick
lug width: 24mm

The flat crystal is sapphire with AR coating. The dial is easy to read, with the big "blade" hands, All the chrono hands are red in colour.

Very nice and unique pieces!

But I gotta ask where you got that leather strap. I need one that color for my Glycine.

Gorgeous straps but those sewn-in buckles gotta go unless it's for 372/422 or vintage

Definitely. That would look silly on a Seiko.

Although that buckle might distract you from looking at those wet foot friendly pushers

I know, it would be for a Ennebi homage, Maranez. But i really liked the result in the Ananta.

Great pics of great watches. I had a SRQ003 very briefly. It was amazing, but sadly way too big. :crybaby:
