Isn't this more like comparing the Land Cruiser to the LX470?

It is a good looking watch straight on, but that is comically thick.

It's true. It seems like these watches are designed primarily to be large, with actual usage as a watch a distant second.

Actually most people couldn't pull that off IMO.

Exactly my problem with the DSSD. When a watch is that thick and unbalanced, it's just a non-starter for me.

POC too. While it is fine to wear whatever you want, and it's actually more wearable than it's dimensions suggest, it's just too much for the majority of people to be anything more than a novelty watch.

That thing makes a U1000 look svelte.

Yes buy both....both are awesome watches! But like pointed out here, it will come down to budget and size werability.

Also, SD600 is using Seiko's higher-end movement. But 8L35 is still a great legendary movement!!!

Spring-diver is a lucky dude...he has both!

I may have to flip 2 or 3 of my watches to get the SD600...

I prefer the mm300 over the spring drive. The mm300 is just classic and well proportioned with a very deeeeeeep crystal to dial ratio, which I like.

Even if money were no option, I'd stick with the mm300

MM300 people calls it classic but I feel it rather dull except the one-piece case.

MM600 is more interesting and I love the Spring drive movement but too bad Seiko doesn't provide the rubber option then I find the Sinn rubber brings out the best of it.

I love the look of the MM600 on Sinn rubber.

These are interesting numbers.

MM600 45mm x 17mm
DSSD 44mm x 17.7mm
U1000 44mm x 18mm
POC 45.5mm x 19.2mm
only accurate watches are interesting

WOW, that is what my old Marcello C Trident wore like, I had to dump it because of that. :crybaby: The MM hugs the wrist allot better than that watch does imo.
