Seiko 6306-7001 Range of Manufacture?

Seiko 6306-7001 Range of Manufacture?

I’ve read that the 6306 was made from 1976 to 1981. Can anybody tell me when in 1981 the 6306 was discontinued?

As I know, The 6306-7000 was made from May 1976 through to August 1976. The 6306-7001 was made from August 1976 to mid 1982.

My 6306-7000 was manufactured in October of 1976.
