Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and 2020 marks the beginning of me collecting watches. I have always worn watches but I have recently developed a bug for collecting especially dive watches. My tastes lean towards field watches, divers and chronos but I have recently started a sub collection of Cressi dive watches. I currently own two manta's (1 PVD coated black on black and 1 silver black dial) and one Sea Lion (blue dial). I am currently in the process of getting a Nereus chrono and a Dual Time Traveller GMT watch in their lineup. These are all in their current line up but they have been selling dive watches for years. I am looking to acquire three specific vintage models; 1. Pro 500M Diver with Cressi-Sub logo possibly made by DOXA https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_/ ... ockl4SOFkN 2. U.D.T. Automatic GMT diver with Cressi-Sub logo https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_/ ... jayDhJsISL and 3. A 200M professional diver with Cressi-Sub logo of unknown origin however judging from the bezel it could be a citizen made watch, https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_/ ... 05g5wQu_gi

I have looked at a few vintage watch sites including watchuseek and watchcharts and also on ebay and no luck so far. I do realize it may take some time before I can get any of these but I am ready to be patient. Any help from forum members would be greatly appreciated.

Hello all, I am still looking for some Cressi, Cressi-Sub vintage watches. My own sub collection of Cressi watches has grown from 2 to now 5. I even repurposed a Cressi embossed regulator case for my watches. Here is a picture of the current sotc of the collection.https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmU061OrgB-9nRFSxBvEepTV3xdQ

Did you ever find those Cressis? I've noticed something about the default search for "Cressi" on the Ebay app (Android phone). I read you've been keeping an eye out for them on Ebay but don't know if you'd be aware of it.

On the app the category automatically defaults to Scuba & Snorkeling, if I was searching for watches I'd change it to Jewellry & Watches BUT within Scuba & Snorkeling there's a Vintage subfield. Today it only has old masks and stuffs but it's the kind of place where someone who wasn't into watches might choose to list a second hand Cressi diver and potentially get overlooked.
