m in Australia and a desperately trying to find a replacement seal/gasket for the crown of my Seiko Divers Watch 6105-8000 that I purchased in 1969. I have located a local watch repairer who previously worked for Seiko, but he cannot locate the part for the repair. I want the watch to be waterproof. If needed, I am prepared to replace the crown, as long as it has a new seal in it.
Any ideas please?

There was a guy in Australia that I had previously sourced some vintage Seiko parts from but that was several years ago. I will PM you his name and email. Worth a shot anyway and might keep it local for you

Contact Jack Alexyon at IWW, he can replace the gasket in the 6105-8000 crown. There aren't many folks willing/able to do it. IIRC, he charges about $50-55 for the service. I had one done, he does a great job.
