I know a few of these have surfaced around here over the years, so I'll add a little Typhoon love too... a recent pick-up from a cool well-known collector in Bangkok

a lot going for this sexy vintage beast... dig the sandpaper-like textured dial, red sweep and cool patina, not to mention 'the bubble'

That screw is a classic of vintage dive watch lore. You can bet you have the real deal Sandoz Typhoon if it has that mysterious screw.
