That screw is a classic of vintage dive watch lore. You can bet you have the real deal Sandoz Typhoon if it has that mysterious screw.

I believe they made them recently, pretty true to the original design, unless I'm mistaken (happens a lot)
The serious bezel and high dome are too cool
