Coolest Vintage rubber I've found yet

Post by Galpo » Wed Nov 12, 2014 10:52 am

I've Bought this from a guy who claims his father have used lot of those when he was a Mil and then Pro diver.
Two were left, which I've bought. Not for everyone taste I'm sure :fro: And no, the son did not any of his father's watches for sale, and when I've asked if he had any, he told me that none were left, except for an old Seiko that he keeps for himself... The R1680 was not included in that 10$ deal

Very pliable and comfortable. the center section looks and feels like a mesh made out of strings
and coated by a thin layer of rubber.
I'm in a check-this-for-wearability-mode right now.

Have a good evening
Cheers,
Galpo

That's cool. I've never seen anything like that before.

Sorry about the shiny look. It is shiny, mostly because I've covered those straps with silicone grease for a few days and even after I've wiped it today, it still shines a little. It's the same rubber (and look) as other tropic rubber straps I have.
