I'm really liking the Seawolf reissue.

Thanks for pimpin' my article Peter! Hope you guys like it. I also did the one on the Seiko 6105-811X on W&W about a month ago. There'll be more to come.

Cheers,

Good read. Only thing I did not like from photo's of the reissue is no end links for the bracelet I hate gaps between the lugs and bracelet hope when it comes out it has end links would look a whole lot better.

Agree, mike. It would be a NATO candidate.

I agree. When Zodiac told me there would be a bracelet with "some stretch", I assumed it would be an oyster style. I don't care for jubilee bracelets much, and I can't stand the straight end look of a bracelet like that. It may be just a mock up for the pics since the watch is at least a year away from coming out. Hopefully they'll do it right...

I'm with you, hoping for the classic oyster style on the final version. Riveted and spring loaded like the original would be ideal. One other thing they could improve would be to take the lume out further on the hands, closer to what the original had.

I tend to baby mine and not wear them, with no replacement parts available, but it would be great to be able to wear one in new condition and without worry.

I wonder if they'd consider a version of the grey polyester/enamel bezel down the line? If they did the rest of it right, I might be up for even a ceramic insert, or some other material that would do the trick.

Bracelet will have end links for the final version as I was told. :-)

Best regards

Very interested in this.

I have a no-date Seawolf with the original box and stretch bracelet. She's broken, so I'll have to send her off to a good watchmaker one of these days.

So much history in these Zodiacs! Has anyone mentioned the connection to the Zodiac killer back in the '70s? :)

No, but Zodiac was a great movie.
