When I was younger, all my dive gear was ScubaPro. This piece, and its waterproof case, is all I still have:



I have always wondered why a decompression computer needed a water proof case. But, ScubaPro sold it, so I bought it. Such a fanboy was I.

Ha, I used a MKII second stage, just like yours, as my octopus connected to a MK6 first stage. The Mk6 was a variation of the MK5 differing only in the manner in which the first stage attached to the tank valve. Th Mk5 screwed on, like most regulators, and the MK6 attached via a spring loaded yoke.

Yep, I use its second stage on my octopus as well.

Octopus is great and easy to handle but I miss the old style with two first and two second stages.

A couple of years ago I was the first to see the first stage (on the octopus) of the Dive Master's regulator in the instant it broke.

We were at -40mt with some green PADI divers in the group, my buddy included.

I had to take care of the Dive Master and give him my 2nd stage up to the surface, deco stop included. The old MkII did a good job inded
