New entry: Auricoste Spirotechnique diver

Post by Gatt » Wed Feb 19, 2014 7:11 am

It took me 1 year to find one in very good conditions and not an obscene price ....

ETA 2824-2, data quick set, hacking seconds. Case made by Squale.

I love the blue and yellow on the dial and the "Horloger de la Marine" engraving on the caseback.

Congrats on the Auricoste Spirotechnique diver. You can find them for a fair price I had a french issued one I sold about a year ago I sold it at a nawcc mart for about 900-800 had it for sale on this forum and no takers and the issued one's are the one's you want. Only reason I sold it was for the move and house I was going to build in Montana.

Why, oh why, I am always late? :banghead:

Today it is impossible to find an issued one at that price.

Sold it for what it was worth so many collectors think they got gold and when they set it higher than there worth they never sell. I got what I had in it so I did not loose any money. Do miss the days when good deals use to show up at the MWR PX I got some of my best vintage watches there and some have doubled in price.
