Eterna Super Kontiki on Hodinkee leather

This is the Eterna Super Kontiki that I got from Mike last week (viewtopic.php?t=21360). I bought a Hodinkee dark brown leather strap for it. I thought I should share these pictures before it goes to another home.

The watch is fantastic. The "12", "6" and "9" really stand out on this vintage dial. The font actually reminds me of the numbers on the old billiards balls that my brother, multiple cousins and I would play pool with at our grandparents house.
The case is in such a great shape for its age being from the 60's. The caseback with the gold on steel contrast is probably my favorite part.
The Super Kontiki is a very solid vintage explorer watch. One that I know very little about but was quite pleased.

Sorry I didn't explain- its not sold but due to my unfortunate circumstances with my stolen Tudor this will prob be going up for sale because someone is holding a watch for me.

Nice watch and that strap looks cool on it.I use to own this one I had a tropic strap on mine to give it that vintage look.
