Jack does great work
Jack does great work
I had a problem when I had my local watchmaker serviced my Eterna Kontiki Super IDF. Main reason I had it service was it's time keeping was really off but when I got it back the crown when you wound it now made a clicking noise and the time keeping was better but still a little off. it was the second service I had done to it had it done once in California when I first got it. So, I took it back for the clicking crown problem and the watchmaker later gave it back said getting parts for it a problem gave it back to me with a refund. So off to Jack at IWW my last hope of getting this watch back into shape. Jack replaced the mainspring the balance, and a lot of other parts. And stabilized one of the hands so the lume don't come off. Now keeps the best time since I got it. The crown was always wobbly after you unscrew it to change the time or hand wind it now solid and tight and no loud clicking noise. Jack said the movement was tired not now just like a new movement good for another 40 years. Jack does a hell of a job.
The parts he replaced.

That’s where my vintage are going. He’s done great work for me in the past.

Jack's great. He just serviced and refinished a vintage Doxa Sharkhunter for me.

That’s wonderful. Nice too there is someone like Jack too send watches to.
Re: Jack does great work
Anyone know how old Jack is? Seems like he’s been around forever. Just wondering if he’ll be retiring soon.

Another vote for Jack. Excellent work on my old Vulcain, running about +3 spd when I keep it wound with about a 2 day PR.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.
