I just picked up a six pack of Hanes in black. Outstanding padding and fit, absolutely no quitters in that package. I am thinking of picking up another package in white for more casual days.

I understand this thread is a joke, but there are actually some ridiculously expensive socks out there. Check out Zimmerli or Pantherella (and, no, I don't own any - never saw the need to spend a lot of money on socks).
