I admire your setups but this is the post I've been so tempted to make. Café Bustelo and Medaglia D'Oro instant are our go-to.

Yep. Fill the coffee grounds cup with ground but don't tamp it. Fill the water up to the bottom of the relief valve. Screw the two parts together and set the burner to med heat. Open the lid and listen for the steam to start to go. Takes about 8 minutes on my stove. Close the lid right as the end so it doesn't blow coffee out of the vessel. Take it off the heat just before it's done percolating so as not to burn the coffee. Makes a really great cup.
