G Shock Frogman GWF-1000 pictures and comparison
I’ve been gay for G shocks lately and I’ve been trying a bunch of models to see which I like best.
My first G Shock was a rescue with negative display that I wore my first year as a nurse. I never really cared for them again until a few years ago when I discovered the GW-5000 square.
I’ve always been intrigued by Frogman and I wanted to check out this version, GWF-1000. I’m still not sure about it because if it’s size and weight.
It actually feels like a dive watch which many will appreciate.
I also snapped a few pics with the Rangeman. As you can see the Frogman is just a little bigger than the Rangeman thanks to the L2L. The actual watch body is about the same as the Rangeman and the Frogman sits flatter on the wrist.

Always liked the way the Frogman looked. Never tried one though.

Thanks for the thread - it’s great
I’ve had both watches and love them both
For me, the rangemen just fits better so that’s the one I still have, but the frogman rocks.

Both look good Ben, but we know you’ve had more than just the Frogman and Rangeman, you’ve had many men.

When I was looking at this one I remembered I bought a 200 series from you. I think I kept it 24hr and was turned off by the size and I didn’t wear digital at the time.JDC222 wrote:

Yes I agree. The Rangeman just fits better and feels better. The frogman is just a tad bigger but the lugs are the problem for smaller wrist.deepcdvr wrote:Thanks for the thread - it’s great

Tried my first frogman a couple weeks back and while it’s stupid big for me, I’m lovin’ it. Wearing it today actually.

I’ll have to check. I’ve dropped some pounds in the past year so I’m not sure.
