Are the digits crooked? It might just be the module not the crystal. Sounds like it would be an easy fix. I’d just send it back and get a replacement if possible.

If it is new, send it back. I wouldn't try to fix it yourself in this case.

That’s a miss in my opinion. That one obviously didn’t get QC’d properly. Exchange it for another ASAP

i think you should simple exchange, otherwise service centre is a good option
