Congrats

Those are cool. I'd have one of the RAF models if they weren't so pricey.

Thanks guys.

Hoppy, those RAF's are sweet, but pricey.

I was considering an analog atomic / solar that was $600ish, but my better instincts (ahem, the thought my wife finding out) kicked in and went with this.

I'll tell you, this one is extremely comfortable - not the typical G strap. It feels as though it's hinged and hugs the wrist nicely.

Nice! The compass feature is also great, not sure why the original Aviation does not have it, it seems to me that it would be something useful.

How long is the strap? do you know if there is a model with bracelet maybe?

Strap is plenty long should easily fit 8"-8.5" wrist, I would think.

Seiya has this model on bracelet, but it isn't Ani-Digi

The Aviator line and now Sky-Cockpits are the first G-Shocks that have gotten me interested in the brand. I tried on the blue one at the Soho store. I liked it but think this one might be more my style. It's a bit stealthier.

There's a new version of the Sky Cockpit called the GW-A1100 that eschews the thermometer in favor of a compass. It was unveiled at Basel, but I'm not sure when it's expected to bow in retail.
